In total, the server is capable of recognizing 219 ligand groups (classes) covering 1,022 of the most popular residues found in the PDB (~93% of ligand instances in the PDB). Additional 22,915 residues, corresponding to rare ligands, are predicted by CheckMyBlob using a similarity-based algorithm. Since most of these rare ligands appear in the PDB only once, their predictions are less reliable, and they are not listed in the dictionary presented below.
